In this story I read about a person who hired people that wanted to be employees at a candy factory. His name was Mr. Icky. The two people in the story that I was most interested in was Ryan and Sarita.

The two characters were similar because they were both boys. Also, they are similar because they are both in high school. Last but not least, they are both looking for a job at the candy factory.

The two characters are different because Ryan actually answers the questions that Mr. Icky gives him, when Sarita is just trailing off on his own path.

Those are the the two characters’ differences and similarities.

Before I go to bed, a lot of things happen. I’m one of those kids that it takes a long time to go to bed. After dinner, I usually watch TV until 8 o’clock. When my dad hauls me to my room to sleep, I have to brush and change. it usually takes me a long time to do both  of that, but I get time. When I get in bed, I read for fifteen minutes. Finally, my dad comes to tuck me in and tell me a story. (His stories are usually bad.) That is my nightly ritual on school nights.

Recently a video game called Minecraft released it’s newest update-1.8.1! It is AMAZING. It has changed a lot. It has lots of new things, including sea lamps, andesite, polished andesite, and salmon. It even has rabbits in it! They are really cute. Once you have killed them,  rabbit’s drop mutton. Although it’s tricky, you can kill rabbits with bows and arrows. I’m telling you, it’s worth it! I’m not sure how to download mods, so today my dad and I will research on it. I’m planning to download the lucky block mod because it’s really cool. In that, there are blocks that look like Mario ? mark blocks. Each block has one surprise in it for you. Here’s how it works:

• You break the block.
• There is a good or bad thing that will happen.
• It will either kill you or be good for you, like the wishing well. That is good and bad because sometimes you get golden apples and sometimes you get blown up by a bunch of TNT.

I think there are 100 good and bad things that can happen to you in that mod. Anyway, back to the update. Just saying, Minecraft can be played on the Mac, PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 and the Ipad. My winter this year (2015) was the best season that I’ve had in my life. It was the best because first and foremost, it was warm on Christmas! We played at the park and we biked around with our friends. Also, the only time it snowed was in November and just twice with that! It was crazy.

Two of the only bad things about it is that both of my best friends are not in town. One is in India and the other is in Arizona. The second bad thing is that we didn’t have a christmas party and we are probably not having a new year’s party.

Isn’t that Wacky? Well, I don’t have anymore to write here, but please read my next post (I can’t write it right away) if you liked this one.

This new Xbox game is a very violent shooting game that requires a lot of strategy. There is a blue team and a red team. When I was playing with two of my friends, we kept on getting on the bad team because we were so bad. It is a first person shooter game depicting robots in a team fighting against the other team. In a fantasy world, the robots have real and fake guns such as laser guns and those kinds of stuff.  The only game on the wii that is just a little bit similar game to it is heavy fire. Heavy fire is another first person game, but it is with people in an army. In Halo, my friends and I kept chanting a team and after many tries, we got the team we wanted. That is basically what the game is. I would recommend this game for ages 13 or over and for people that like shooting and gun games.

Today my cousins from Switzerland are coming to stay for two nights. I am writing this right before they are going to come. I am sort of nervous that they are coming because I haven’t seen them for a really long time. The thing that I am excited for is that this time I am going to beat my cousin Eshan at table tennis.The last time we met them was one year ago in winter break for one night. Sorry, I had to go at that part. They have just left, and I already sort of miss them. Eshan is the older sibling, and Avi is the younger one. I just found out that Eshan is really good at table tennis,  but I still think I am better than him. Yesterday, we played cricket outside and a little bit of football with that. Today they only stayed till ten, but we still played a little before they went. They taught me this game called around the world with ping pong. It was really fun doing that. I think the best part was when Eshan did hindi class with us, while his dad and my dad taught class. It was really fun playing with them, and I really want to meet them again. Bye! Recently I read a small story about a mistress over-pampering her dog. That got a conversation started on our dinner table, “Should parents pamper their children?” Are you serious?!? Is that even a question?!?  It is awesome to be pampered! Of course, it has some bad things to it, but we’ll get to that stuff later….. oh, maybe not. When people are pampering you, You basically get whatever you want! If you wanted to watch TV, you could watch TV. If you wanted to play video games, you could play video games. Isn’t that the life that anyone would like?

Well, there is one bad thing about it. When you do not get what you want, you would most probably cry. This is from the lack of handling losses well. That is what is called being spoilt.

Yesterday I went to the Crazy K Mud Run with my sister. It was not so fun for me because I HAD TO STAND IN THE BLEACHERS THE WHOLE TIME. In the Crazy K, you have to go through, over, or under all of the obstacles. I couldn’t do it because my parents signed me up too late. Before the last day, it was free for under 9 year olds, (I’m eight) but they forgot and remembered on the last day. Yesterday it costed 60 dollars, so it wasn’t worth it. It was a 5k, so it took approximately 1 hour to finish. The only good thing about it was at the end when we were going, I was hungry so we had sausage pizza and buffalo wild wings. We also had enough tickets for a fruit punch gatorade. That is all what happened in my perspective of the Crazy K Mud Run.

“What a point! I must watch the replay. NOOOOOOOOO! It was Djokovic’s point but what a great challenge from Federer, I thought. Oop! Sorry I haven’t introduced myself. What am I doing? Hi, my name is Aryan Sachdev and I am the chairman for the US Open. It is a big opportunity for me to get to know the players. It is #2 Federer against #1 Djokovic. Federer was the champion of US Open for 5 years in a row, but he was longer when he had his streak for Wimbledon. He won 9 of them, 5 in a row. (2003, 2007) It was. Now now, enough talking. Let’s watch the match!       

In the first set of the match, Djokovic was playing very aggressively and he broke Federer once in a 12 minute game and it was the end of the first set.

In the second set Federer was winning after a llllllllllooooonnnnnnggggg time, but then he boosted his game and rocketed to win the set.

In the the third set Djokovic won the same way he did in the 1st set, breaking Federer again in the last game.

In the last set, Federer did not go down so easily. The first championship point was when it was 5-2 Djokovic. Federer broke him once and got up to 5-4 Djokovic. Djokovic was the winner of the US Open finals and he did his victory dance. It was an amazing win and everyone in the bleachers got up to applaud.

That was really fun.
